Charles
Koehler practices in the fields of commercial and retail law with an
emphasis on creditors� rights litigation.
Prior to joining Martin & Seibert, Mr. Koehler
was a law clerk for Bell, Boyd and Lloyd. While at Bell Boyd, Mr.
Koehler worked on large scale litigation in employment discrimination
and government contracts.
Mr. Koehler is a member of the American Bar Association,
Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Virginia Bar Association, and the
Virginia Creditor's Bar Association.
Prior to beginning his law career, Mr. Koehler worked
in the regulatory department of a prominent health care insurance
company and later a prominent health care maintenance organization,
assisting each of them with complying with state and federal laws. This
work included assisting both with the implementation of the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Mr. Koehler is also an active partner in an
investment club, where he drafted the partnership agreement and bylaws
and continues to provide legal insight to partnership activities
