Geoffry
Haddad has joined the Charleston office in July 2008. Mr. Haddad has extensive
experience representing corporate, insurance, and individual clients in a diverse
array of litigation matters, including insurance cases, professional malpractice
litigation, negligence cases, and automobile product liability lawsuits. He
regularly represents and appears on behalf of State Farm and its policyholders
as defense counsel and has successfully represented numerous clients resulting
in advantageous settlements and jury verdicts. Mr. Haddad
began his legal career as a litigation associate in Charleston where his practice
focused on insurance defense litigation. He later became Special Counsel at a
large law firm representing corporate and individual clients in varied areas of
civil litigation. Before joining Martin & Seibert, L.C.,
Mr. Haddad served several years as claim litigation counsel for State Farm's captive
law firm, focusing his practice exclusively on insurance defense litigation. Before
becoming an attorney, Mr. Haddad served as Vice President of Haddad's Incorporated,
a ladies specialty clothing store in South Charleston, WV. Mr.
Haddad is the author of Caplin and Drysdale Chartered v. United States: Constitutionalizing
Attorney Fee Forfeitures with Ethical Dilemmas for the Criminal Defense Bar, 19
Cap. U.L. Rev. 825 (1990). Mr. Haddad is admitted to practice
in the Northern and Southern United States District Courts of West Virginia, as
well as in all trial and appellate courts in West Virginia. |
