Fitzwater practices primarily in the area of insurance litigation.
Prior to joining Martin & Seibert, L.C., Mrs. Fitzwater began her
legal career with an insurance defense firm in Baltimore, Maryland.
Later she practiced in Oakland, Maryland as a general practitioner,
concentrating in the areas of criminal defense, domestic relations
and personal injury. During this time, she served as the attorney
for the Garrett County Adult Guardianship Supervisory Board.
Mrs. Fitzwater serves on the Berkeley County Nuisance Appeal Board
and is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia.
She is admitted to the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the West Virginia
Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for both the
Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia and the United
States District Court for the District of Maryland.
