Allison
Marquina received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies with
concentrations in journalism and management from Columbia Union College
in 1987, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore
School of Law in 1991. During her second year of law school, she
represented the University of Baltimore at the National Environmental
Law Moot Court Competition in New York. During her last year of law
school, Ms. Marquina was the Managing Editor for the University of
Baltimore Journal of Environmental Law.
Prior to joining Martin & Seibert, L.C. in 2002, Ms. Marquina
completed two judicial clerkships in St. Mary�s County, Maryland and
Washington County, Maryland. She also practiced as a general
practitioner concentrating primarily in the areas of personal injury,
bankruptcy, and domestic relations. Ms. Marquina is an adjunct
instructor in the Legal Department at Hagerstown Business College. Prior
to this, she was an adjunct assistant professor in the Law and Public
Policy Department at University of Maryland University College from 1995
through 1999.
Allison Marquina is licensed to practice in the State of Maryland and
in the District of Columbia, and will be admitted to practice in the
State of West Virginia in 2003. She is also admitted to practice before
the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. As an
associate attorney with Martin & Seibert, L.C., Ms. Marquina
practices primarily in the area of insurance litigation.
