Laura
Davis practices primarily in general corporate and insurance law
matters, including complex class actions, “bad faith” insurance
defense, and insurance coverage.
Much of Ms. Davis' corporate practice has been
focused on transactions involving major insurancecarriers. Her practice
also includes personalinjury and general defense litigation in state
and federal courts. Ms. Davis frequently counsels clients with regard
to insurance company trade practices and standards under West Virginia
law. She also plays an integral role in statewide discovery managemnt
in complex insurance matters.
Ms. Davis is a member of the West Virginia State
Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Berkeley County Bar Association.
Ms. Davis has been admitted to practice before
the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States
District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West
Virginia.
