Douglas
Rockwell primarily practices insurance litigation. He has actively
defended insurance carriers and their insureds on a variety of issues
ranging from construction, premises liability and automobile claims
to indemnification and coverage issues. Mr. Rockwell also practices
in the areas of commercial banking and land development and personal
injury defense. He has tried over 100 jury and non-jury cases before
the various courts in West Virginia and Virginia.
Mr. Rockwell has served as President of the Jefferson
County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Jefferson County Development
Authority, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, JEDICO, and as
President of the Jefferson County Democratic Executive Committee.
Mr. Rockwell is a member of the West Virginia State
Bar and the Jefferson County Bar Association. He is also a member
of the Defense Research Institute and a former member of the Trial
Lawyers Association.
